KENDALL.
St. Stephen's Church, Phillip-street, was de-
corated on October 10, for the marriage of
Miss Alma
Kendall, youngest daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. T.
Kendall, of Killetra, Rose Bay,
with Mr. Arthur Rushby Garling, only son of
Mr. and Mrs. P. S. Garling, of Wanganui,
Longueville. The Rev. Oliver Dick officiated.
The bride wore a gown of ivory chenille em-
bossed satin, with panels of honiton lace,
and train of silver tissue, lined with shell
pink georgette. The embroidered tulle here
was held by a coronet of orange blossoms,
and she carried a shower bouquet of white
azaleas and pink rosebuds. She was attended
by Miss Edna Williams and Miss Daisy Garl-
ing, in frocks of powder blue crepe de chine,
trimmed with georgette and cream lace. Tulle
turbans, held wlth sprays of forget-me-nots
and bouquets of pink sweet peas and blue
cornflowers, completed their toilettes. Mr.
R. H. Waddington was best man, and Mr.
A. J. Finlay groomsman. The reception was
held at The Dungowan, Mrs.
Kendall re-
ceived the guests and wore a straight gown
of beaded black georgette, a black hat, and
carried a bouquet of dark red rosebuds.
