I'm researching a BROWN family and have Thomas KENDAL marrying Jane BROWN not Jane HUDSON. I garnered this information from Jane's brother's will. her brother being James Lindsay BROWN.
I've attached a copy on the descendents fo Thomas & Jane, though there is quite a bit I haven't got around to putting in yet. Where I have "Reg." in the place name, it's because that is where the event was registered and I have no conclusive evidence that that was where they were born etc.
I have other info further back on the BROWN side, which is where I descend from.
