On 21st May, 1907, Mr G. W. Kendall, of 168 Forbes Street, Sydney reported to police that a Gent.’s gold-filled hunting Elgin watch, No. 7466681, was stolen.

Assault and Robbery.
Kogarah. - Arthur Best, of Cane - street, Peakhurst, reports that at 10 p.m. the 19th instant, whilst in Forest Road, Penshurst, he was assaulted and robbed of the sum of £2 15s. by a man whom he can neither describe nor identify. A doubtful report.
Pyrmont. - George Wm. KENDALL, third Englandineer of S.S. " Andova," lying at Pyrmont wharf, reports that about 10 p.m. the 8th instant, while in the Darling Harbour yard, he was assaulted and robbed of a silver open - face non - magnetic watch, by a man whom he can neither describe nor identify.
