Contrary to the expectation of many, Arthur
Kendall, the man who was shot in the Domain some
months ago, and whose case has excited some interest,
died at an early hour yesterday morning from the
effects of the wound. He had improved greatly since
he received his injury, and short time ago was thought
to be near recovery, but a few days since he began to
sink, and death carried him off yesterday. An inquest
will be held on the remains either this afternoon or to-
morrow morning.
