SUICIDE OF A SCHOOL TEACHER
COOTAMUNDRA, Saturday,

Mr. Alfred Ernest Kendall, public school
teacher at Stockingbingal, shot himself this
morning. At the inquest to day no reason
could be assigned for his act other than that
he had been a little despondent of late, and
he had to attend court this morning against
parents for not sending their children to
school.
