Earl Spencer in 1813, went to New Zealand with parents in 1814 and also to South America in 1825, returned to Sydney in late 1828. Master of the
Brisbane in name only which sank in July 1832 with no survivors. Moved to Mandanal (today known as Kirmington Milton) in 1835.

Born in London, England on 3 Dec 1809, as a twin with Joseph, to Thomas Kendall and Jane Quickfall. He was christened on the 27th of December 1809 in the parish of Saint Mary, St. Marylebone, London.

In answer to an inquiry - The Sydney Mail of Saturday last says "Mr Kendall's father was named Basil Kendall. He was the son of a New Zealand Missionary, a seaman in early life, but afterwards a farmer at Ulladulla, His mother was a Miss Melinda McNally, a grand-daughter of Leonard .McNally, once a well-known Irish wit, and the companion of Burke, Sheridan, Goldsmith, and others.
Basil married Melinda McNally in Sydney N.S.W. on the 1st of August 1835
[2] and had 6 children.
He passed away on the 23rd of Sep, 1852 of consumption in South Grafton, New South Wales, Australia.
